The Alfaline line thermoplastics were developed by Vimaster, to meet the request of customers who required high degree adhesion product that added a great durability and an excellent resolution level.
The Alfaline is developed for application on highways and even on urban roads, where road demarcation requires longer useful life products, than those obtained with conventional demarcation paints.
Made from first-rate raw materials, Alfaline thermoplastics are available in the following types:
Alfaline thermoplastics have a high viscosity and contain embedded glass beads.

Alfaline is suitable for marking asphalt pavements, such as arrows, symbols, zebras, crosswalks, speed bumps and other applications.
Highly recommended for use in cities and highways.
For markings on concrete floors, consult our technical team.
White | Yellow | And others.
Alfaline is packed in 25 kg plastic bags, and must be stored in a cool, dry place.
Correctly stored, the product has a minimum shelf life of 6 months.
Before handling, read the safety data sheet.
The floor must be clean, dry and free from contamination, such as: dust agents, oil, grease, moisture or residue from the curing of the floor. We recommend a small test before large scale application.

Produced in accordance with Braizilian regulatory standards (NBR 13159)
| Application temperature | 180° to 200°C |
| Softening point | minimum 90°C |
| Density(g/cm³) | 1,85 to 2,25 |
Caution: do not heat above 220°C (safety temperature).
Alfaline SPRAY must be melted in suitable machines with mechanical agitation, capable of heating the product to the desired temperature (see technical information) and applying a hot spraying process.
Must be applied with an approximate thickness of 1.5 mm, equivalent to 3 kg/m².
To obtain a good retroreflective level, use Vimaster glass beads immediately after applying the thermoplastic, ensuring an anchoring of the glass beads on the thermoplastic of around 50%.

The maximum safety heating temperature is 220°C, and must never be exceeded.
Heating above the recommended pouring temperature should be avoided as deterioration of pigments and binder resins may occur.
Alfaline EXTRUD must be applied by the extrusion method using suitable equipment. The material should be placed in a heater equipped at application temperature (180° to 200°C), carefully transferred to the application equipment for use. Molten material may be heated and used after solidification provided the total time in the molten state does not exceed 6 hours. Heating should be gradual to avoid the "burnt" effect. Alfaline EXTRUD is generally applied with thicknesses between 3 mm and 5 mm. To obtain good retro reflectance, use Vimaster Glass Spheres immediately after applying the thermoplastic, with good distribution and anchorage between 50 and 60%.
